How New Habit collects, uses, and protects your information, and the terms that cover using the app.
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Part one
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and (for Google) a profile photo. We never see or store your Google or Apple password.
Everything you enter in the app — habits, goals, check-ins, and streaks — is stored under your account so it syncs across your devices.
If you save or share a progress card, the app asks for permission to write that image to your photo library — only at the moment you choose to save or share, and only that one image.
To run your account and sync your habits and goals across your devices, to let you sign in without a separate password, and to respond if you contact us for support.
Reminders are scheduled entirely on your device. New Habit does not operate a push notification server, and your reminder schedule and content are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Your account and app data are stored using Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, which hosts the database and handles sign-in on our behalf. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
You can edit or delete any habit, goal, or check-in at any time from inside the app.
You can permanently delete your account and every habit, goal,
and check-in tied to it from Profile → Delete Account.
This is irreversible — once confirmed, there's no way for us to
recover it.
For anything else — a data question, a correction, a request we haven't covered here — email us and we'll help directly.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes it permanently, as described above.
New Habit is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use New Habit after a change means you accept the update.

Part two
By downloading or using New Habit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
New Habit is a personal habit and goal tracker. We provide it on a best-effort basis and don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. New Habit is meant for individual, personal use — one account per person.
You own the habits, goals, and check-ins you create. You grant us only the rights needed to store and sync that content so the app can work for you — nothing more.
Don't reverse-engineer the app, abuse or overload our infrastructure, or use New Habit for anything illegal.
If you use New Habit to track health-related routines, it's a tracking tool, not medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional for anything health-related.
You can delete your account at any time from
Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate
accounts that violate these terms.
New Habit is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of every country that the app is available, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use New Habit after a change means you accept the update.
